Simply twist the reagent spout on to most 1 gallon reagent bottles and pour away. The vent straw allows air to flow into the bottle and avoids the glug. Another fine product sold by PathSUPPLY, Inc. in a bag of six spouts.
The only 1 gallon bottles we have found that do not fit the spout is the long neck bottles from Thermo. The spout does fit on the Richard Allen pint bottles so it is great to use for hematoxylin and eosin.
